✨ About us
CoraSon Montuno was founded by our organizer Cristhian Jaramillo, better known among friends as“Plomo”. Although his journey in salsa is relatively recent (7 years), Plomo has been deeply immersed in jazz and hip hop since his adolescence.
His first contact with salsa music came during his childhood in Ecuador, on the coast of Huaquillas. However, after immigrating to Spain, it was not until 2019 that he discovered salsa and bachata dancing in Murcia.
Throughout this journey, Plomo encountered ideas and concepts that would later contradict one another, ultimately leading him to find a path more aligned with his own views and critical perspective.

In 2025, he created CoraSon Montuno with the intention of continuing to promote salsa culture in a more organic and authentic way.
